Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati requires the followingmedical faculty posts to be recruited on ad-hoc basis.

1. Asst. Professor (Medical Oncology)
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs.1,00,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: DM (Medical Oncology) / Clinical Hematology, Or, equivalent post graduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India.

2. Asst. Professor (Transfusion Medicine)
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs.1,00,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: MD (Pathology) and Diploma in Transfusion Medicine with minimum 3 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine after post graduation, ‘OR, MD (Pathology) with minimum 5 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine after post graduation, ‘OR, MD (Immunohaematology and Blood Transfusion) or MD (Transfusion Medicine) with minimum 3 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine after post graduation or equivalent Post Graduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 4 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine.

3. Assistant Professor (Anaesthesiology)
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs.1,00,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: MD (Anesthesia) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 1 year post PG experience in Anesthesia in a MCI recognized teaching hospital.

Age : Below 45 years (relaxable in exceptional cases).

1. Speech and Swallowing Therapist
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs.17,790 per month
Educational Qualification: Hold a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered with the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board / Council. Experience of working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute hospital setting is desirable.

2. House Keeping Supervisor
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs.17,790 per month
Educational Qualification: Graduate with Diploma in Housekeeping / Hotel Management. Preference will be given to the candidate with working experience from reputed Hospitals / hotels

3. ICU Technician
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs.15,180 per month
Educational Qualification: 10+2 Std. (Science) with some experience in ICU / OT as Technician / Respiratory Therapist / Dialysis Technician in a reputed Institute. One Year’s Certificate / Diploma course in Electronics OR related subjects will be desirable. Preference will be given to those who have passed 1 year course in OT / ICU / Respiratory Therapist / Dialysis Technician from a reputed Institute.

Age: Below 30 years
