Applications (8 nos. copies of application) in the prescribed form of the University are invited from the intending eligible candidates for the following posts so as to reach the Registrar-in-Charge, Majuli University of Culture on or before 03/08/2019 along with a Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- (One thousand only) in favour of the Registrar, Majuli University of Culture, Majuli payable at United Bank of India, Garamur Branch (Branch Code GRUR55).
1. Registrar
No of posts: 1 (UR)
Pay: Pay Band- Rs, 1, 44, 200/- 2, 1 8,200/ & Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/ and all other admissible allowances.
Educational Qualification:
(i) A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of (B) in the UGC seven point scale.
(ii) At least 15(fifteen) years of experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Senior Scale)/ 8 (eight) years of experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Selection Grade)/Reader/Associate professor along with experience in educational administration OR, comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of Higher Education, OR, 15 (fifteen) years of administrative experience of which 8 (eight) years as Deputy Registrar or in an equivalent Post.
Desirable: Knowledge of financial/human resource management and other related matters connected with resource mobilization.
Age: Not less than 50 years as on 01/07/2019.
2. Academic Registrar
No of posts: 1 (UR)
Pay: Pay Band- Rs. 1, 44,200/- 2, 1 8,200/ & Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/.
Educational Qualification:
(i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of (B) in the UGC seven point scale.
(ii) At least 10(ten) years of experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Senior Scale)/ 5(five) years of experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Selection Grade)/Reader/ Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration OR, comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of Higher Education.
Age: Not less than 45 years and not more than 55 years on 01/07/2019 and shall retire at the age of 60 (sixty) years.
3. Finance and Accounts Officer (FAO)
No of posts: 1 (UR)
Pay: Pay Band- Rs. 78,800/- 2,11,500/ & Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/-
Educational Qualification:
(i) M. Com. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with specialization in Finance/ Accounts or CA / MBA in Finance.
(ii) 9 (nine) years of experience as Assistant Professor and above, with experience in Educational Administration. OR (i) At least 5 (five) years of experience as Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts or in Accounts/Finance/ Audit Branch) in University/Higher Education Institution, OR in an equivalent position in Government organization/ Private organization of repute.
Desirable:
(i) Knowledge of Government Rules/Accounting/Auditing/ Budgeting/Store Accounting etc. and regulations of State Universities relating to Accounts/Audit, Service Conditions and related financial matters.
(ii) Proficiency of Computer Applications etc.
