Empowered Committee on Elementary TET, Government of Assam has issued a new notification dated on 17th September 2019 regarding new Assam TET examination 2019 date, extension of last date of submission of online application and regarding submission of documents for those candidates who are pursuing B.Ed/ D.El.Ed course/s.
Last date of submission of online application:
The period of submission of on-line application of TET, Assam 2019 (Lower Primary and Upper Primary) only for the Physically Challenged candidates has been extended and such online applications will be received from 191h September, 2019 to 27th September, 2019. Physically Challenged candidates who had applied earlier may also edit their Application Form with the help of their Application Number and Password within the above mentioned period.
Submission of documents for those candidates who are pursuing B.Ed/ D.El.Ed course/s:
For preliminary scrutiny before issue of Admit card for the Candidates who had submitted on-line application as * pursuing professional course (B.Ed/D.ELEd) will have to mandatorily upload the following details from 19th September, 2019 to 27th September, 2019. They have to upload/update their Application Form with the help of their Application Number and Pass word within the above mentioned period.
a. Date of Admission in professional course ( B.Ed/D.EI.Ed)
b. Name of Institution where pursuing the professional course ( B.Ed/D.EI.Ed)
c. Mode of professional course( B.Ed/D.EI.Ed) : Regular or ODL
d. Image of self attested Admission receipt with seal of the Institution where pursuing the professional course ( B.Ed/D.ELEd)
Note: Pursuing professional Course means all those candidates who have submitted the application even though they have not acquired the B.Ed/D.ELEd qualification. Candidates who do not upload the above information/documents within the stipulated period will be summarily rejected and their fee shall be refunded in due course.
Date of examination of Teacher Eligibility Test ( TET), Assam 2019:
Date of examination of Teacher Eligibility Test ( TET), Assam 2019 (Lower Primary and Upper Primary) has been rescheduled on 10th November, 2019.
Age relaxation:
For recruitment in Government jobs, upper age limit will be applicable in accordance with the prevailing Act/Rules, at the time of recruitment.
Submission of false information/ Documents:
In case of detection of submission of false information/false documents by any candidate, his/ her candidature, qualification in TET will be considered null and void (even after issuing of TET Certificate) without assigning any reason thereof.
