Applications are invited in the format prescribed by the DHE, Assam along with complete biodata and testimonials from HSLC onwards from eligible candidates having good academic records and latest UGC norms for direct recruitment against the following vacant sanctioned posts of Assistant Professors in the revised UGC scale of pay.
1. Assistant Professor in Physics, No of post 1 category UR
2. Assistant Professor in Mathematics, No of post 1 category UR
3. Assistant Professor in Political Science, No of post 1 category SC
4. Assistant Professor in Education, No of post 1 category UR
5. Assistant Professor in English, No of post 2 category SC, ST(P)
6. Assistant Professor in History, No of post 1 category ST(H)
7. Assistant Professor in Philosophy, No of post 1 category ST(P)
Educational Qualification and Selection Procedure: As per Govt. office memorandum no. AHE.407/Z017/44 dtd. 8/11/2018 with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum standards and procedures for the award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.
The candidates must have minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the master’s degree level in the concerned subject A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC/ST/PWD candidates and to Ph.D. holders, who have obtained their master degree prior to 19th September 1991.
The candidates have to acquire qualifications as on the last date for submitting applications. Eligibility like M.Phil /Ph.D./ seminar papers/publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.
Age: 38 Yrs as on the 1st January 2019 with the relaxation of 5 Years for SC, ST & PWD and 3 years for OBC/ MOBC candidates,
How to apply: Applications, accompanied with a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 2000/- (Two Thousand) only drawn in favor of Principal, Lakhimpur Girls’ College, North Lakhimpur payable at United Bank of India, North Lakhimpur Branch, must reach the Principal, Lakhimpur Girls’ Collegewithin 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this advertisement. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the authority concerned.
